Payment Options
Overview
Dentists generally accept cash, personal checks and major credit cards for services rendered. Most dental practices also now offer monthly payment plans through an outside health care financing partner. Although similar to a department-store credit card, these payment plans can only be used to pay for health care.
After you and your dentist agree to a treatment plan, you simply complete a short credit application, which is submitted to the financing partner, either by phone or online. Typically within minutes, a credit decision is made.
You begin treatment immediately with little or no money down, paying for your care in low monthly payments. Some plans also feature a revolving line of credit that you and your family can use for ongoing dental needs—a convenient financial resource for preventive, emergency and cosmetic care.
