Basis for Acceptance

A company earns the ADA Seal for its product by providing evidence that meets the ADA criteria for safety and efficacy. The ADA Council on Scientific Affairs carefully evaluates the evidence according to the Guidelines for Participation in the ADA’s Seal of Acceptance Program. In addition, requirements for this product category include but are not limited to the following criteria:

Clinical studies in humans
Laboratory studies to determine the amount of available fluoride. These tests were also conducted in ADA labs.

Brief Description of Product, Indications and Directions for Use

Adults and children 12 or older: After brushing with toothpaste, vigorously swish with 10ml once a day for 60 seconds, then spit out.
Do not swallow.
Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after rinsing.
Children 6-12 years old: Supervise use and instruct in good rinsing habits (to minimize swallowing).
Children under 6: Consult a doctor or dentist.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients:
Sodium Fluoride 0.05% (0.02% w/v) for anticavity

Inactive Ingredients:
Purified water, vegetable glycerin, xylitol, aloe vera gel, sodium phosphate monobasic, citric acid, olivamidopropyl betaine, natural flavors, grapefruit seed extract, vitamin B12

Label Warnings

Keep out of reach of children. If more than used for rinsing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center.
Do not use if safety seal is missing or broken.
This rinse is not intended to replace brushing or flossing.
