"The ADA Council on Scientific Affairs’ Acceptance of Effergrip Denture Adhesive is based on its finding that the product is effective as a temporary measure and may provide increased retention of complete dentures, when used as directed. Ill fitting dentures may impair health - consult your dentist as soon as possible."

Basis for Acceptance

A company earns the ADA Seal for its product by providing evidence that meets the ADA criteria for safety and efficacy. The ADA Council on Scientific Affairs carefully evaluates the evidence according to the Guidelines for Participation in the ADA’s Seal of Acceptance Program. In addition, there is a specific guideline for this product category called Denture Adherents which includes, but is not limited to, the following criteria:

Studies demonstrating that the integrity of the denture is not affected by the adherent
Biocompatibility studies
Clinical data demonstrating the effectiveness of the denture adherent in providing increased biting force, increased retention, and that the integrity of the dentures is not affected by the adherent.

Brief Description of Product, Indications and Directions for Use

Zinc free Denture Adhesive Cream.
Thoroughly brush away any remaining adhesive.
Apply three short strips as shown. Keep strips away from edges.
Use only the amount necessary.
A few trials should indicate the proper amount and the best placement of strips for your individual needs.
Rinse mouth before inserting dentures.
Press dentures firmly in place and hold for 20 seconds while cream sets.
Store at 59° - 77°F.
Roll tube from bottom. Keep cap and nozzle dry so opening does not clog.
