- Android: Visit the Android Market on your phone and search for “QR Reader.” After downloading, you can open the app and start scanning.
- BlackBerry: Download “Blackberry Messenger” onto your phone by visiting http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/3729.
- after downloading, select “BlackBerry Messenger” application
- press the menu key (the one to the left of the ball)
- select “invite contact” and then you are ready to scan the code
