The Dental Quality Alliance (DQA) will be hosting a conference titled “Improving Dental Quality Through Measurement” on June 28-29, 2013, at the ADA Headquarters Building in Chicago. This conference will train 100 thought and opinion leaders in dentistry who commit to promoting the implementation of measurement to pursue common goals of quality improvement in oral health.

This conference is open to all stakeholders who want to see an improvement in oral health. Participant selection will aim to convene a broad and diverse group of people with the ability to impact priority and underserved populations across the nation, who have significant healthcare disparities.

All attendees are responsible for their own travel expenses, including transportation and hotel. Attendees receive continuing education credits for their participation in the program. The American Dental Association is an ADA-CERP recognized provider.

DQA Conference Objectives

  1. Gain knowledge on the need for and the goals of measurement to support quality improvement.
  2. Examine emerging trends in quality, patient safety, and leadership across the dental care continuum.
  3. Review measurement techniques necessary to develop and implement quality improvement projects in dentistry.
  4. Develop strategies for successfully leading and influencing healthcare improvement through measurement in dentistry.
