Updated—Grant and Scholarship Information
A special thanks to our donors, friends and grantees for being a part of the ADA Foundation family. Your contributions and meaningful work help improve the nation’s oral health.
Due to disappointing investment returns, the ADAF Board of Directors has postponed program announcements related to:
- Harris Fund for Children’s Dental Health grants program
- Scholarship programs
- RFP program focused on Early Childhood Caries Research
Regrettably, the allied dental scholarship programs (dental assisting, dental hygiene and dental laboratory technology) will not be offered during 2009. In May 2009, allied dental program directors received an e-mail from the ADAF with that announcement.
The ADA Foundation Board will meet in August to make final decisions regarding resumption of 1) dental student and minority dental student scholarship programs and 2) Samuel Harris Fund for Children’s Dental Health grant program.
Please be assured that the ADAF will broadly disseminate information about the dental student and minority dental student scholarships as well as the Harris Fund grants when information becomes available in August.
An announcement regarding the RFP program focused on Early Childhood Caries Research will not be made until later in 2009.
We encourage you to frequently check this web page (www.adafoundation.org) for program updates.
