During Your Allied Dental Site Visit

As mentioned previously, the basic purpose of the site visit is to permit peers to assess the program’s compliance with the Accreditation Standards and with its own stated goals and objectives. The visiting committee confirms information provided in the comprehensive self-study, completed by the institution prior to the visit; reviews documentation; conducts interviews and observes students/residents. Information related to the site visit is strictly confidential.

The Commission recognizes that there may be considerable latitude in determining procedures and methodology for site visits. Experience has shown that the conference method for conducting a site visit is widely favored and has been found most satisfactory.
