Apply to Take the DAT

All fee-waivers available in 2017 have been granted. The application for 2018 fee-waivers will be posted on December 18, 2017. Candidates who have not previously taken the DAT will be able to submit fee-waiver applications at that time.

Thank you for your interest in applying for the DAT. Please continue reading and check this page regularly for updates and additional information.

To start the DAT application process, obtain a DENTPIN® and read the official DAT Guide.  On the terms and conditions page of the application, you will be asked to confirm that you have read the Guide and agree to the rules and regulations.

Keep in mind testing fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. There are no exceptions. Your credit or debit card will be charged when you submit your application.

When inputting your name, use the name as it appears on your official government issued identification, such as a driver’s license or passport. When you arrive at the test center, the name on the IDs you present must match exactly the name on your application or you will be denied admission to test. If you are denied admission, you will need to submit a new application and you will forfeit your previous fee.
