Join the ADA as an International Member
As a dentist practicing or licensed outside the U.S., you are invited to join the American Dental Association as an International Member. Membership offers the opportunity to connect with more than 159,000 colleagues, including 3,000 from around the world, and access to the ADA's leading scientific information, professional products and practice management tools.
How to Join
Join now to enjoy a full year of benefits in 2017! Applications can be completed quickly and conveniently online or by downloading an application form below. Current International members can also easily renew membership online.
Dentists can also join or renew membership while registering for the ADA Annual Meeting (when registration opens in May 2017) and also ADA booths at select dental trade shows around the world.
International members receive an ADA membership card by mail, typically four to six weeks after joining (depending upon country), a membership certificate via email and enjoy many other benefits.
Membership dues are billed by calendar year, and membership is from the time a dentist joins until December 31 of that year.
If you are a dentist practicing in a country designated by the FDI World Dental Federation as a least developed and low income nation, ADA International member dues are $16 for 2017. International members in all other countries pay $100.
Not Eligible for International Membership? Nonpracticing Dentist Category
If you are dentist with a dental degree (from any country) residing in the U.S. or its territories, do not hold a U.S. dental license, nor have a revoked dental license, are not receiving compensation for delivering patient care and are ineligible for any other type of membership in the ADA, you may be eligible for membership as a nonpracticing dentist.
