New Dentist Resources
Are you a "new dentist?" If you graduated from dental school less than ten years ago, the answer is yes!
The ADA New Dentist Committee provides the perspective of the new dentist to ADA leadership. We also offer resources and services to help build a solid foundation during your vital transition years, including:
Free and Discounted CE for Students and New Dentists
Student members can access free ADA CE Online. New dentist members can receive a 50% discount with an exclusive promo code. Contact the Member Service Center for your code at at 800.621.8099 (8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. CST M-F).
New Dentist Conference
For the first time, the New Dentist Conference will coincide with ADA 2015 – America’s Dental Meeting, November 5-8, 2015. Participate in both meetings this year and experience all ADA 2015 has to offer! Registration is now open. Visit ADA.org/ndc for the details today!
The ADA Ethics Hotline — 800.621.8099 — is a service available to members of the ADA.
It’s designed to assist new dentists and other members in managing ethical challenges that may arise in day to day practice. The Ethics Hotline is not a legal resource but rather a service for helping to resolve ethical dilemmas much like an ethics consultation service. Callers will be matched with a member of the Council on Ethics, Bylaws, and Judicial Affairs who will arrange a time to discuss the matter and offer resources that may assist in resolution.
ADA® Center for Professional Success™ (CPS)
The ADA Center for Professional Success is a members-only resource that provides tools to help you manage your financial responsibilities, practical advice, information about continuing education programs, tips on maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and more. Visit Success.ADA.org.
