Register now for March Evidence-Based Dentistry Champions Conference

January 04, 2012

Dental peers from the worlds of academia and clinical practice can meet and learn about evidence-based dentistry together at the ADA Evidence-Based Dentistry Champions Conference, March 8-10 at ADA Headquarters.

Evidence-based dentistry is increasingly relevant in both realms, said conference organizers.

Selection is competitive, as only 100 dentists may participate in the 2012 conference. Early application is encouraged.

Selected dentists will learn about EBD and be trained to apply its principles and tools clinically. Participants become "champions" and later disseminate information about EBD to their dental colleagues.

Participating dentists must live and practice in the United States and be directly involved in treating dental patients. Registration is free. Participants will earn 11 to 14 hours of continuing education credit.

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality provided a grant (grant number 1R13HS020551-01A1) that in part funds the 2012 conference.
