Atlanta—Dentists can learn the latest about infection control at the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention 2012 Symposium June 21-23 here.

OSAP is a membership association with a mission centered on preventing disease transmission and ensuring safety during oral health care delivery.

More than 20 knowledgeable speakers are scheduled to address the latest diseases, vaccinations, trends, regulatory updates, research technologies and training tools in infection control.

The ADA’s Drs. Sheila Strock and Gregory Zeller are among the presenters.

Dr. Strock, a senior manager on the ADA’s Council on Access, Prevention and Interprofessional Relations, will present Tools for Root Cause Analysis, which addresses ways to facilitate patient safety and root cause analysis investigations.

Dr. Zeller, senior director, ADA Research and Laboratories in the Division of Science, will present State of Products and Technologies, which will explore how the ADA Professional Product Review provides unbiased, clinically relevant product analysis and evaluations for, among others, infection control products and technologies.
