Registration open for 2014 National Primary Oral Health Conference
June 02, 2014
Denver—Registration is open for the 2014 National Primary Oral Health Conference, Building the Oral Health Foundation for Primary Care, Aug. 17-20, at the Coronado Springs Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
Conference participants can share and learn quality improvement best practices, obtain clinical and administrative continuing education credits and attend sessions on emerging oral health issues. The conference focuses primarily upon improving oral health programs within health centers and other dental safety net clinics, and many sessions are designed to provide information to help private dentists who partner or contract with health centers.
The conference is presented by the National Network for Oral Health Access.
NNOHA was founded in 1991 by a group of dental directors from federally qualified community health centers who identified a need for peer-to-peer networking, collaboration, research and support in running effective oral health program.
This year's conference features learning opportunities that will be beneficial to health center dental staff and their supporters, including: Intensive Learning Session: Cariology 101; Fundamentals of Leading a Health Center Oral Health Program; Digging Deeper: Staff Motivation; and Digging Deeper: Maximizing the Impact of Your Dental Program.
Some courses require pre-registration and some require an additional fee. For more information about the agenda, hotel and travel or to register, visit nnoha.org.
