CDC extends infection control survey
March 17, 2014
Annapolis, Md.—The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention agency, extended through March 31 an online survey of private dental practices about exposure control plans for reducing the risk of exposure to potentially infectious materials.
The survey through Feb. 28 invited participation of dentists selected from an AEGIS Communications distribution list. The one-month extension announced March 3 by the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention offers an ADA-specific link to the survey. A participating dental practice should complete only one survey, said Therese Long, OSAP executive director.
