PBHS announces Spanish-language website design services

PBHS, the dental website and practice marketing services company endorsed by ADA Business Resources, unveiled its bilingual website design services for practices that serve Spanish-speaking patients.

“We took the initiative to invest in professional Spanish translations of our general dental, oral surgery and endodontic website packages,” said Jay Levine, PBHS president. “We found that machine-based translations, such as Google Translate, creates differing contextual interpretations that don’t always make sense for a clinical, educational website.”

The company’s professionally translated websites can also help educate and inform Spanish-speaking patients, Mr. Levine said.

“It’s important that when dealing with clinical content that dentists should consider their obligations to accuracy of translations and the importance of properly informing patients,” he said. “Of course, our customers always have immediate control over modifications to their website content. In addition, Spanish websites also assist dentists who are actively marketing their services within Spanish-speaking communities. A translated website is more relevant and more authoritative in the eyes of search engines and can increase page ranking for the website, according to PBHS.
