Registration for New Dentist Conference opens May 13, ahead of general sign-up
April 20, 2015
Inspiration: Entrepreneur, motivational speaker and “Shark Tank” judge Daymond John will be on hand at the New Dentist Conference this fall.
A re-envisioned New Dentist Conference that coincides with the ADA annual meeting is planned for Nov. 5-8 in Washington, D.C. Registration opens May 13 for the 2015 New Dentist Conference.
The ADA New Dentist Committee re-tooled the New Dentist Conference to run in conjunction with ADA 2015 in an effort to reach more new dentists and optimize resources. The approach means that registrants have the opportunity to experience the resources that both meetings offer.
The annual New Dentist Conference is designed for dentists who are 10 years or fewer out of dental school. The stand-alone conference, held last year in Kansas City, Missouri, has annually averaged 345 registrants since 1992. The conference gives new dentists opportunities for leadership development, to network with peers and attend quality continuing education courses with others in the same career stage.
Highlights of the 2015 New Dentist Conference include:
Inspiration from entrepreneur Daymond John, a co-star on ABC’s “Shark Tank.”
An exclusive, customized continuing education track featuring real-time interactive technology.
High-level networking opportunities during Leadership Day.
A New Dentist Reception at Penn Social (ticket included).
A VIP lounge in the convention center to relax and network.
Access to significantly reduced hotel rates — $100 per night savings.
A chance to give back at the ADA Mission of Mercy.
Washington, D.C., itself, which Forbes named the “Coolest City in America” in 2014.
New Dentist Conference attendees also can take advantage of all that ADA 2015 has to offer, including an all-new Welcome Reception included as part of the registration cost; Eleanor Clift and Charles Krauthammer featured in the Distinguished Speaker Series — presented by Church & Dwight, the makers of Arm & Hammer, Spinbrush and Orajel oral care products; over 300 cutting-edge educational opportunities; and more.
