August 04, 2015
Dentists and dental team members seeking to learn more about dental sleep medicine can register for an Oct. 2-3 ADA CE Live course at ADA Headquarters in Chicago.
Dr. Steve Carstensen, a diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, will lead the CE course, Dental Sleep Medicine for the General Dental Team.

The second day includes a hands-on workshop where those attending will be given rationale behind choosing appliances for various types of patients; experience taking records for making excellent appliances; see a demo of common modifications that address frequent patient complaints; see what to look for on sleep reports; and take home a semi-custom temporary sleep appliance of their own.
Attendees receive 11 hours of CE credits. The cost of the course is $495 for members; $595 nonmembers; $395 per dental team member.
