JADA's CE program goes online only
January 05, 2015
Starting with the January 2015 issue, The Journal of the American Dental Association's Continuing Education program will be available online only. JADA's January edition is posted online now at jada.ada.org
The Journal's new CE platform offers readers 24/7 access to their JADA CE accounts, allowing them to view CE tests they've taken and credits they've earned whenever they wish. Answers to JADA CE questions are now checked and graded in real time, with online help tools to guide readers through the process.
Beginning in January, each edition of JADA will include three CE-designated articles, identified by the ADA's CE logo. Accompanying each CE article will be four questions based on the text. Licensed U.S. dentists can earn up to three CE credits by answering the questions for the three exams in each issue and recording a score of at least 75%. Readers who pass these tests will be able to print their CE certificate immediately.
To introduce JADA readers to this new online-only service, the JADA CE program will be offered as a free trial to all users for January and February 2015 JADA CE tests completed prior to March 1, 2015. The ADA Continuing Education Recognition Program will continue to accredit JADA CE, which now is administered by Elsevier, JADA's new publishing house.
