Dentists can review proposed technical report on dental practice management systems

The ADA Standards Committee on Dental Informatics (SCDI) has approved for circulation and commentary the proposed revision of ADA Technical Report No. 1055 for Computer Hardware and Software Guidelines for Dental Offices.
The report outlines the features of hardware and software for dental practice management systems, provides guidelines for their selection and suggestions for their optimal utilization in dental offices.

The ADA is accredited by the American National Standards Institute to develop American National Standards and technical reports for products and information technology used by the dental profession and by consumers. Currently, there are more than 90 national standards and more are under development.
