ADA, CODA seeks public, consumer member nominations
August 19, 2016
The ADA, through the Council on Dental Education and Licensure, is seeking nominations for individuals to serve as public/consumer representatives on the Commission on Dental Accreditation's Board of Commissioners.
Public nominees are expected to have an interest in or knowledge of health professions related to education and accreditation matters but must not have a formal or informal connection to dentistry. Nominees must not be dentists, allied dental personnel or be teaching in an institution that sponsors an accredited dental education program.
Nomination forms for the CODA public/consumer representatives should be sent by Oct. 1 to the ADA Council on Dental Education and Licensure. The ADA Board of Trustees will review the nominations and select candidates for CODA's consideration. The CODA Board of Commissioners will consider the nominees at its summer 2017 meeting.
