2017 ADA Humanitarian Award nominations due Sept. 15
July 08, 2016
The ADA is seeking nominations for the annual ADA Humanitarian Award. Nomination materials must be submitted on or before Sept. 15.
The award will be given to an ADA member dentist who has alleviated human suffering, demonstrated significant leadership, served as an inspiration to others and established a legacy that is of ongoing value and benefit to those in need, both in the U.S. and abroad.
The award, one of the highest honors the ADA Board of Trustees bestows, recognizes individual volunteer commitment and leadership over a period of at least 10 years that has had a broad impact on oral health and the improvement of the human condition.
The Association will honor the 2016 recipient, Dr. Frank C. Andolino II, at ADA 2016 – America's Dental Meeting on Oct. 20 in Denver. The ADA will make a $10,000 donation to the charity of Dr. Andolino's choice.
