Program addresses how research informs clinical practice

— Dental professionals are invited to an International Association of Dental Research/American Association of Dental Research Chicago Section event on July 27 that will address how research informs clinical practice and policies.
Dr. Alonso Carrasco-Labra, Ph.D., the director of the ADA Center for Evidence-Based Dentistry, is the speaker and will introduce the most important elements necessary to inform clinical practice and policy development using scientific information, and also provide a succinct preview on how the process for decision-making may look in the future.
There is no fee to attend. Guests are invited to bring a lunch or purchase lunch at the cafeteria in the ADA Headquarters, 211 E. Chicago Ave., the location of the event. The group lunch begins at noon and the program begins at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, on the second floor of the ADA Headquarters. After the program, guests can tour ADA Laboratories.
