On your mark, get set, and go to Denver for ADA 2016
May 09, 2016
— Registration is open for ADA 2016 – America's Dental Meeting and the New Dentist Conference, both in October in the Mile High City.
To register, visit ADA.org/meeting
This year's ADA annual meeting will feature more than 300 continuing education courses, more than 550 exhibitors in the Exhibit Hall, the House of Delegates and the Distinguished Speaker Series featuring 18-year-old Nobel Peace Prize-winning education advocate Malala Yousafzai. The Distinguished Speaker Series is presented by ACT Oral Care.
"I'm looking forward to Malala," said Dr. Jim Van Sicklen, a Stockton, California-based dentist and chair of the Council on ADA Sessions. "No one can disagree with what she stands for. She's an inspiration to all of us."
Dr. Van Sicklen, who has attended nearly a score of annual meetings, said there will be new features, including a Thursday-night opening party — called the Mountain Mixer — in the Exhibit Hall. He noted that the meeting is in Denver for the first time since 1930. "Denver is on the middle of everything," he said. "The accessibility is very good. It's just a neat place."
The advance registration deadline is 5 p.m. Central Daylight Time, Sept. 16. Registration and course fees increase after this date.
ADA 2016 will convene Oct. 20-24 and the New Dentist Conference Oct. 20-22. For the most updated information, visit ADA.org/meeting
