FTC halts Florida man who claimed he worked with agency

August 18, 2017 Washington — The Federal Trade Commission obtained a default judgment and permanent injunction announced Aug. 10 against a Florida man who allegedly claimed he was affiliated with the FTC and sold technical support services.

The court order prohibits the accused from making material misrepresentations about his affiliations with the FTC or any other government agencies. The accused is ordered to pay more than $52,000.
