Webinar to help dentists understand, create Medicaid compliance plan

October 23, 2017 ADA members seeking to better understand what a Medicaid compliance plan is and why their practice needs one can register for a free Nov. 8 webinar scheduled from noon-1 p.m. CST.

The webinar, Medicaid Compliance Within a Pediatric Dental Practice: Utilizing a Self-Audit, is hosted by the ADA Council on Advocacy for Access and Prevention and its Medicaid Provider Advisory Committee. Its goal is to help make sure all members of the dental team correctly handle and abide with applicable state and federal regulations when treating Medicaid patients.

Dr. Jessica Meeske, of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, is the presenter. Dr. Meeske can help dentists and other stakeholders understand what a Medicaid compliance plan is, which can minimize the dentist’s risk of having a negative audit finding, should include as well as give an example of a plan dentists can modify to reflect their own practices.

In addition, one hour of continuing dental education credit is offered.
