Letters: Dental student loan debt

April 18, 2016 I graduated from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston in 1976. My class was very competitive and academically excellent. I held down two part-time jobs all four years of school and made in today's dollars $25,000-$30,000 per year. Multiply that by four years is over $100,000.

If most dental students today are borrowing over $200,000 to get out of dental school then I have part of the solution in three words.

Get a job.
