For Baltimore visitors May 16, a chance to see the Tooth Fairy
Tooth Fairy Day: Children can meet the Tooth Fairy May 16 (2009 event shown here) and learn how to take care of their teeth during Tooth Fairy Day at the National Museum of Dentistry in Baltimore.
Baltimore—If you're planning a trip here in mid-May, a trek to the National Museum of Dentistry will give you the opportunity to meet the Tooth Fairy and celebrate Tooth Fairy Day on May 16.
Did you know that if a baby tooth falls out in the Philippines, you're supposed to throw it over the roof? Visitors can learn about this and other tooth traditions from around the world from 1-4 p.m. that day. In addition to meeting the Tooth Fairy, participants can learn oral health tips and make toothy creations to take home based on other countries' traditions.
