Part I of Recognition and Management of Complications During Minimal and Moderate Sedation is an online course that will be available on ADA CE Online in the coming months. Part II, a hands-on workshop, will be held Oct. 28 and Oct. 29 at ADA Headquarters. Completion of Part I is required before taking Part II.
In 2008, the ADA Foundation awarded a grant to the Anesthesia Research Foundation of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology to develop the course for dentists as an alternative to Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
