New Professional Product Review online
The summer issue of the ADA Professional Product Review revisits electric handpieces, evaluating the performance and design features of seven systems.
During the testing, the ADA laboratories assessed the handpiece systems for speed, eccentricity, noise, light profile, resistance and extraction force.
The Review, which mails quarterly with The Journal of the American Dental Association, is designed to help dentists with product selection by giving them unbiased, scientifically sound and clinically relevant information.

Electric and high-speed air turbine handpieces were previously evaluated in The Review’s volume 2, issues 1 and 3, and volume 4, issue 2. All back issues of The Review can be accessed online at www.ada.org/goto/ppr.
