Laura Kosden retires as ADA publisher
Laura A. Kosden, vice president and publisher, ADA Publishing, retired at the end of July after nearly 18 years as chief of the division that produces The Journal of the American Dental Association and the ADA News.
"The years seem to have flown by," said Ms. Kosden, who joined the ADA staff in November 1992. "This has been a tremendously rewarding experience. I will miss the supportive environment that has allowed me to grow and expand the business, but most of all, I will miss the camaraderie of the many friends and colleagues I have worked with over the years."
In retirement, Ms. Kosden plans to travel and to engage in volunteer work within the underserved communities, with a focus on education. "I've had an enjoyable career, and now I have an opportunity to give something back," she said.
