Session programs showcase the latest products, techniques
Orlando, Fla.—Annual session registrants can learn the latest approaches to dentin hypersensitivity management, the impact of wearing dentures on oral and systemic health and investment strategies—straight from the companies who develop products and services for these needs—by attending Satellite Symposia courses at annual session.
Courses to date include:
- Dentin Hypersensitivity: New Management Approaches, will be presented by Colgate Oct. 9, 1-2:30 p.m. in the ADA World Marketplace Exhibition on the Satellite Symposia stage. The course will review dentin hypersensitivity, discuss traditional treatment methods and provide information and clinical research on new Pro-Argin technology (course 5601);
- Impact of Denture Wearing on Oral and Systemic Health, will be presented by GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Oct. 10, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on the exhibit floor on the Satellite Symposia stage. The course will cover the unique health challenges denture wearers face, the science that proves the importance and relevance of good oral hygiene, and how to develop strategies and choose tools for patients in this group (course 6601);
- Increasing Returns in your IRA and Protecting Assets in a Market Down Move, will be presented by Investools Oct. 9, 6-8 p.m. at the Hilton Orlando, Lake Louise Room and also Oct. 11, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the World Marketplace Exhibition on the Satellite Symposia stage. This symposium explains what investors can do to combat the significant market downturn that occurred in 2008, how they might put an alert system in place prior to the next potential down move and how investors may obtain better returns in an individual retirement account through the use of conservative option strategies (course 5602, Oct. 9; course 7601, Oct. 11).
