Orlando, Fla.—Want to get a behind-the-scenes look at what makes Orlando tick while you're attending the annual session?

There are several ADA tours that can give you an inside look at Central Florida's hottest attractions:

  • A Breakfast at Tiffany & Company—Learn how to shop for diamonds and tie a Tiffany bow and then spend some time shopping. Oct. 9, 7:30 a.m.-noon; $299 per person includes a $200 Tiffany gift certificate.
  • Backstage Safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom—Includes an open-air tour through more than 100 acres of Africa-like terrain in a safari vehicle. Oct. 9 or 12, 11 a.m.-1:45 p.m.; $109 per person.
  • Disney Institute's Behind-the-Scenes: Disney by Design—Learn how ideas by Disney artists, designers and landscapers turn Disney resorts, theme parks and offices into masterpieces of illusion. Oct. 9 or 10, 8:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.; $135 per person.
  • Kennedy Space Center and Lunch with an Astronaut—Explore NASA landmarks at the famous space center and hear the personal stories of an astronaut during a one-hour lunch. Oct. 8 or 10, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; $83.50 for adults, $67.50 for children.
  • Richard Petty Ride-Along with High Powered Karting—Ride in a stock car at 150 mph, then don a helmet and driving suit and compete in high performance kart racing time trials. Oct. 8 or 11, noon-4:30 p.m.; $282.50 per person.
  • Sunset Gator Hunt by Airboat and Dinner—Head for the Everglades for an up-close look at alligators, snakes and other wildlife in their natural wetland setting. A buffet dinner is included. Oct. 9, 4-9 p.m., $109 per person.
