Registration opens for new ADA course on minimal, moderate sedation
Part I of the new ADA CE course, Recognition and Management of Complications During Minimal and Moderate Sedation, is now available on ADA CE Online (www.adaceonline.org).
With a focus on proper monitoring and airway management, the course is for all dentists who administer minimal or moderate sedation in their offices.
Dentists who plan on completing the two-part course can begin the four credit didactic portion now.
Registration for Part II, the hands-on portion that takes place in three five-hour sessions Oct. 28 and Oct. 29 at ADA Headquarters in Chicago, is also available on ADA.org.
Participants must have completed Part I before taking Part II.
The Anesthesia Research Foundation of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology developed the course with a grant from the ADA Foundation.
