Illinois State Dental Society hosts Smile Contest at state fair

Winning smiles: Participants in the Illinois State Dental Society's 25th annual Illinois State Fair Smile Contest flash their winning smiles Aug. 20 as Dr. J. Barry Howell, ISDS treasurer (back row, left), and Dr. Darryll Beard, ISDS president-elect (back row, right), look on. Nearly 100 children participated in the event designed to promote good oral health in children. Winners received cash prizes, T-shirts and ribbons, and all participants received a free smile kit filled with dental health products. |
