CDC awards oral health grants to Kansas, Texas and Vermont
Atlanta—The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Oct. 7 announced grants to Kansas, Texas and Vermont to strengthen their oral health programs and improve the oral health of residents. The grants are renewable for up to three years.
"CDC is committed to working together with states to help them improve their basic state oral health services," said Dr. William Kohn, director of CDC’s Division of Oral Health. The three new awards increase to 19 the number of states receiving CDC oral health support including Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina and Wisconsin.
