Norton M. Ross Award celebrates clinical research
The deadline for nominations for the Norton M. Ross Award for Excellence in Clinical Research is July 15.
Each year, the Norton M. Ross Award recognizes investigators whose clinical research has had a meaningful impact on some aspect of clinical dentistry.
“Clinical research is a crucial part of dentistry,” said Dr. Raymond F. Gist, ADA president. “The scientists who have received this award in the past are among the most notable names in the profession, and on behalf of the American Dental Association, I am proud to recognize dentists in the name of Norton Ross.”
The Norton M. Ross Award is sponsored by the ADA with support from Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Products, Division of McNeil-PPC Inc. It is given in memory of Dr. Norton M. Ross, a dentist and pharmacologist who contributed significantly to oral medicine and dental clinical research. To nominate a candidate, send a letter explaining the impact of the nominee's research on clinical dentistry, current curriculum vitae and a list of publications to Kathleen Alexandrakis, The Norton M.
