Restorations, TMD set as Open Clinical and Science Forum topics
Las Vegas—Back for a return engagement at Annual Session, the Open Clinical and Science Forums will offer a chance for clinicians, scientists, expert opinion leaders, industry representatives and other participants to discuss two of dentistry’s more controversial topics.
This year’s forums are Safety and Effectiveness of Dental Restorations (Tuesday, Oct. 11, course 6340) and TMD Facts and Opinions (Wednesday, Oct. 12, course 7340). They will be hosted and moderated by Dr. Michael Glick, editor of The Journal of the American Dental Association, and Dr. Daniel Meyer, ADA senior vice president for Science and Professional Affairs.
On-site at Annual Session, the forums will convene on the main stage of the LOC in the ADA World Marketplace Exhibition area. Both forums are free, but registration and a ticket are required. Attendees will earn 1.5 continuing education credits for each course.
ADA member dentists who don’t attend the Annual Session can log onto the new ADA365 virtual extension of the meeting and view these forums live at noon Pacific Time (3 p.m. Eastern Time) on Oct. 11 and 12. See ada.org/session for login information and details. ADA member dentists must have a unique email address on file with the ADA in order to access ADA365.
Developed and hosted by the ADA Council on Scientific Affairs and The Journal of the American Dental Association, last year’s forums drew more than 3,000 participants at the Annual Session in Orlando.
