Journal of Dental Education launches search for editor
Washington—The American Dental Education Association is seeking a new editor for the Journal of Dental Education.
The editor must be recognized by the dental education community as someone who understands key issues affecting education and has a record of publishing and editing scholarly articles. Candidates will have experience in allied, predoctoral or advanced dental education, or some combination, with demonstrable knowledge of teaching, research, publishing, writing and editing.
Current editor Dr. L. Jackson Brown will retire from his position in March 2012. Under Dr. Brown’s direction, the manuscript submission process for the journal was significantly streamlined. The JDE now attracts 60 percent more submissions annually from more than 50 countries.
Those interested in the position or wishing to recommend a candidate can contact Jim Zaniello, president of Vetted Solutions, at 1-202-544-4749 or email@example.com.
