 The ADA organized a June 28 satellite media tour for the launch of in which ADA consumer advisor Dr. Maria Lopez Howell answered questions on first dental visits, frequency of brushing and flossing, fluoride and nutrition, and encouraged viewers and listeners to visit the new website. Spanish-speaking media outlets accounted for half the 27 interviews performed.

“There’s a quiz on, ‘Brush Up on Your Dental IQ,’ ” Dr. Howell said in one interview. “We encourage you to take the quiz and find out what you know about your oral health but more importantly, what you don’t know.”
