New Orleans—If you graduated from dental school in 2004 or later, plan now to attend the New Dentist Reception held during Annual Session.

The event is also open to dental students. It’s a unique opportunity for new dentists and students to connect with colleagues and enjoy a casual gathering place to meet up with old friends.

One past attendee, Amanda Farley, a member of the American Student Dental Association and dental student at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, called the reception “my most valuable experience at ADA Annual Session.

“It’s a chance to network with friends and colleagues in a fun and social environment and see what is waiting for us on the other side of graduation,” said Ms. Farley. “It’s like seeing the light at the end of the tunnel while meeting and reconnecting with people who were in your shoes not that long ago.”

Sponsored by Wells Fargo, the New Dentist Reception takes place Friday, Nov. 1 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Generations Hall, 310 Andrew Higgins Drive. Cost is $15 per person, which includes food and beverages.

A ticket is required for entry (limit two per person). Tickets can be purchased with online registration. The New Dentist Reception is code E001.

Guests must be 21 years of age or older.
