ADA standards committee to meet in Hawaii

The ADA Standards Committee on Dental Informatics will hold meetings Sept. 29-30 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel in Honolulu.

The ADA is accredited by the American National Standards Institute to develop American National Standards for products and information technology used by the dental profession and consumers. Manufacturers and research institutions use national standards developed by the ADA. In addition, they are often adopted as international standards or used by regulatory agencies in evaluating products for clearance to market to the dental profession or consumers. There are more than 70 national standards and more are under development or revision.
