ADA Business Resources announced Nov. 5 that ADA members can take advantage of the most competitive rates available on UPS, now its endorsed shipping company.

Dr. Charles H. Norman of Greensboro, N.C., took office today as the 150th president of the American Dental Association.

New Orleans—The ADA House of Delegates Nov. 5 approved a 2014 operating budget of $123,956,500 in expenses and $122,244,000 in anticipated revenues, but did not seek a dues increase. Expected additional nondues revenues in 2014 are predicted to create a positive net by year end 2014.

Limited space is still available for the American College of Prosthodontists' continuing education course Nov. 15-16 in Chicago.

In balloting at the House of Delegates today, Dr. Maxine Feinberg of Westfield, N.J., was elected president-elect of the American Dental Association. Dr. Jonathan D. Shenkin of  Freeport, Maine, was elected ADA second vice president.
