Briefly describe your practice.
Mostly general and cosmetic dentistry. I have been here for nine years, (and seen) 11,300 patients already. I restore a lot of implants lately. My patients are mostly young adults and baby boomers. (There are) three operatories in my practice.

 What is the most interesting thing that has happened or you’ve done as a dental professional?
I work with all the Miss Universe Puerto Rico (contestants) every year for cosmetic purposes.
Why did you choose dentistry as a profession?
My dad is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. (Also) my grandfather was a ob-gyn, one of my uncles is in internal medicine and the other one is an orthopedist, and my aunt is a pediatrician.
What's the most difficult challenge you've faced in your practice?
In Puerto Rico, trying to survive with the fees of our local dental plans.
Name one unique thing on a wall in your clinic or displayed in your waiting room.
I have many pictures of myself with local and international celebrities, and my diplomas.
What is/was the most challenging aspect of dental school?
Trying to finish on time with so many classes at the same time.
What would you be doing if you weren’t a dentist?
Artist, painter.
Name/describe your favorite CE course taken in the past two years.
A cosmetic dentistry course by Dr. Hillman.
What do you do to relax?
Depends on my mood. Sometimes I jog. Believe it or not that relaxes me. (I also) go to a spa for a massage, put some aromatherapy on my face or body.
What is the most daring thing you’ve done in your lifetime?
Jump from a tower 200 feet tall.
What are you most proud of?
My family and career.
What is the last book you've read or are currently reading?
Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman.
How do you deal with stress?
Most of the time I really don't have stress at all. I don't have any problems. When there's a problem it's a perfect time to work with the making of a solution.
Where is your favorite vacation spot or activity?
Go to a beach with a golf course.
What are your hobbies?
Any kind of sports, motorcycles, cars (track).
Who is your favorite singer or musical group?
Sting (The Police).
What do you do for exercise?
Jog, some weights.
Name one thing you have in your home from your childhood.
Photo albums.

Click with Adam Sandler. (It was a) really bad movie.

Whom do you admire?
My Dad and grandfather.
Who has most influenced your life?
My grandfather.
What musical instrument do you play?
Chinese sticks.
What concerns you about the future?
Economy, nuclear war, more war, health.
Any words of advice?
Do your own thing, don't talk bad about other people, do always the right thing, everything in life happens for a reason and the answer is always at the end.
Anything else you’d like to mention?
Believe me in 80 years nobody will remember us, so you can do whatever you want, if it's legal.
