Introduction

Recognizing the need to offer its members and the dental community a way to select continuing education (CE) with confidence, to assist regulatory agencies and other organizations responsible for approving credit, and to promote the continuous improvement of CE, the American Dental Association Continuing Education Recognition Program (ADA CERP) was established in 1993. Through an application and review process, the ADA CERP evaluates and recognizes institutions and organizations that provide continuing education (CE).

Important Documents

ADA CERP is administrated by a standing committee of the Council on Dental Education that includes representatives of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Dental Examiners, the American Dental Education Association (ADEA), the Canadian Dental Association and the organizations representing the recognized dental specialties.

For details on the application process, review the Application Information and Procedures.
