Three new leaders have stepped up to offer their expertise for the Dental Education: Our Legacy—Our Future initiative. Dr. Leslie W. Seldin and Dr. David C. Johnsen are vice chairs for the national effort and Dr. Kenneth L. Kalkwarf is the new recipient partner chair. These leaders, along with co-chairs Dr. Cecile Feldman and Dr. Richard Haught and Dr. Arthur A. Making a difference
'Our Legacy—Our Future'
It only takes one person to change the course of a life. It only takes one person to make a difference. In my life, that person was my family's dentist. In 8th grade, he asked me to come down to see the dental school at which he taught. He was practicing and teaching part-time as a clinician. Even today, I remember that he was a well-read, highly educated individual who was passionate about being a dentist and even more passionate about teaching others to love dentistry and dental education.
