Rite Aid drugstores offer oral health information, donate to GKAS fund

An ADA-approved, 12-page guide to oral health care is available free of charge at all Rite Aid pharmacies as part of the drugstore chain's nationwide health education and wellness campaign.

Rite Aid, in collaboration with the ADA, is offering the free oral care guide at all of its 4,800 stores in 31 states and the District of Columbia. The guide also is available online at www.riteaid.com Link opens in separate window. Pop-up Blocker may need to be disabled..

As part of its collaboration with the ADA, Rite Aid is donating $45,000 to the ADA Foundation's Give Kids A Smile fund to help provide dental care to needy children across the country.

In addition to the oral health guide, Rite Aid's online health information center at www.riteaid.com/health/ Link opens in separate window. Pop-up Blocker may need to be disabled. offers brushing and flossing demonstrations, additional oral health information and interactive games on oral health care.

Also, Rite Aid customers who purchase selected oral health care products valued at $15 or more from now through Sept. 26 are eligible for a coupon book offering free items worth $10, available through the company's Single Check Rebate program at http://riteaid.rebateplus.com Link opens in separate window. Rite Aid's collaboration with the ADA is one of several campaigns involving health care organizations. Other Rite Aid collaborations have involved (or will involve in the near future) the American Heart Association, the Skin Cancer Foundation and the American Diabetes Association, among others.
