Council of Science Editors Poverty and Human Development Global Theme Issue
The Council of Science Editors (CSE) has organized among science journals throughout the world a global theme issue on poverty and human development. Participating journals are simultaneously publishing articles on this topic of worldwide concern to raise awareness, provoke interest and stimulate research. This is an international collaboration among journals from developed and developing countries—235 in all.
The Journal of the American Dental Association is pleased to be among the participating journals and presents an editorial and four cover stories on this topic of interest to practitioners in the United States and around the world. With this online publication, JADA makes these articles available to all readers throughout the world, with no restrictions, to honor the CSE’s effort to combat worldwide poverty and disease through scientific cooperation.
