The report is intended to be a practical guide for the profession's next generation.
The user should note that the report recommendations are not
official recommendations or policy of the American Dental
Association.
The contents of the Future of Dentistry report are being made available to the user in PDF format, whereby the user may download and/or print desired information. The report is also available in hard copy for a total cost of $20.00 by calling 312-440-2568.

Future of Dentistry Executive Summary The Future of Dentistry Executive Summary is now available to download in Adobe PDF format. The full report is an extensive document that includes in-depth analyses of trends and issues in six critical areas:
- Clinical Dental Practice and Management
- Dental Education
- Dental Licensure and Regulation of Dental Professionals
- Dental and Craniofacial Research
- Financing of and Access to Dental Services
- Global Oral Health, as well as specific recommendations for the future.
The summary includes all of the 114 recommendations that were cultivated for each of the critical areas and the basic philosophies and justification for their development.
