Golden Apple Awards

2016 Golden Apple Award Program Information

The 28th year of the American Dental Association’s (ADA) Golden Apple Awards Program for state and local dental society programs and activities will begin accepting entries on May 1, 2016 through June 1, 2016 on ADA Connect. The program has 14 entry categories, with several categories having connections to membership and community related initiatives, and, there’s the “Open Category” where dental societies can enter innovative and successful programs that do not fit any other categories. Entries must showcase programs and activities produced between June 1, 2015 and May 31, 2016. Award recipients receive a prominent trophy to be proudly displayed at your dental association.

2016 Golden Apple Awards for New Dentists and New Dentist Committee Awards

Award for New Dentist Leadership and the Outstanding New Dentist Committee Award  are unique opportunities for state and local dental societies to gain valuable recognition for their new dentist members and programs.

2016 Golden Apple Award for Inspiring Careers in Dental Education

The Council on Dental Education and Licensure's (CDEL) Golden Apple Award for Inspiring Careers in Dental Education recognizes members and/or faculty members who are outstanding mentors willing to share their knowledge to enhance the scholarly, professional, and personal development of aspiring and emerging dental faculty. This category is open to nominations from not only constituent and component dental societies, but also other dental organizations, ADA members and students.
