OSHA Exempts Dental Offices from Requirements to Report Certain Workplace Injuries

September 18, 2014 The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will soon publish new reporting mandates for employers, but will exempt many workplace settings, including dental offices. The rule will add new employer reporting requirements for certain workplace injuries, such as worker hospitalizations and amputations. Dental offices, along with many other types of employers will not have to report injuries aside from the most serious cases. More information on the pending rule is available at OSHA’s website:
